I have been very successful applying chirovetpractic techniques to treat disease in the dog and cat. Most owners are extremely pleased with the results. The following are excerpts from testimonials I have received:

My Golden Retriever/Samoed was diagnosed with severe arthritis in one hip and dysplasia. Lucy has been on steroids for 2 years. 18 months ago her condition seemed much worse. She was very nervous, continually pacing and panting, bad breath. Her fur was rough and had a heavy odor. In one treatment, Dr. Hathaway diagnosed the problem as a dislocated sacrum. Within 24 hours the problems were eliminated. Thus making our Lucy's life much more livable.

Two years ago my male Basset was diagnosed with a back problem, because of the symptoms:

  1. Shaking throughout his body.
  2. Needed to be lifted in and out of cars.
  3. Refused to be sociable (Would lie down far away from us, behind chairs, in rooms very distant from where we'd be. This upset us very much because he is a very sociable dog when he isn't sick.
  4. Couldn't go up any steps without help.
  5. Foul breath and later came foul body odor and super dry skin.

My Vet's recommendation was Cortisone or Surgery. Dr. Hathaway adjusted our dogs with nothing but positive results & without the need & use of those #%&* pills, shots & surgery.

Before Dr. Hathaway's adjustment of my dog's spine, my dog was unable to walk, get up, sit down, or lower her head to eat or drink. My dog also screamed at night, her pain was so intense. After x-rays, our vet recommended a chiropractic adjustment as the solution. My dog slept for the first time in 3 days after Dr. Hathaway's work.

I am a breeder of German Shepherd show dogs. I am very well known among Shepherd show persons across the country. . . I cannot say that all of Robert Hathaway's claims are absolutely as he makes them, only because I would require repeated personal experience with each and every one of them in order to be able to do so; however, I wouldn't be one bit surprised to eventually learn that all that he says is absolutely so. I make this statement because I have had 4 or 5 animals treated by Dr. Hathaway which resulted in very dramatic recoveries.

In early July, 1995 my cat of sixteen years was suddenly struck by unknown paralysis of the hind quarters. A week of hospitalization, exams, sundry blood tests and X-rays produced no rational explanation. A friend gave me the name of Dr. Hathaway. Dr. Hathaway correctly identified the problem, a lower spine dislocation when he made the house call. A chirovetpractic treatment was given and was 100% effective. I feel that Dr. Hathaway obviously made the right diagnosis at the time and without any doubt would recommend him to anyone in the same situation I was in with a hopeless case.

Two years ago I was told that I would have to have my 11 year old German Shepherd go through surgery for her back or have her put down. My vet is a WONDERFUL physician and she had done all she could for my dog without surgery. I was not convinced that Kristyn could survive the surgery. She could not get up and was in terrible pain. I found Dr. Hathaway. He saved my dogs life. After treatment, she was able to continue her life. She was not a puppy again but she was much improved.

Approximately 9 months ago, I took my 12 year old golden retriever with me to visit some friends. I had to hit the brakes to avoid an accident causing Chauncey to fall. The following day he could hardly move (even walking up one small step was obviously extremely painful) and, for the first time, refused to eat. After expensive urine and blood tests and three visits, Chauncey was diagnosed as having arthritis and put on Ascripton and Glycoflex. After a couple weeks, I saw little improvement even though he was able to slowly walk around and get up stairs or steps. Upon examination, Dr. Hathaway identified that Chauncey's sacrum had been forced out of alignment as the result of his fall, and manipulated his sacrum back into place. I say immediate improvement the next day, and within two weeks Chauncey was back to his normal routine, running down the stairs in front of my house that a month ago he was able to barely and slowly navigate.

Two and a half years ago, my Rottweiler named, Desiree was taken to her regular veterinarian because she was having great difficulty getting up and even moving about. My vet took radiographs and advised me to consider putting her down because she had severe hip dysplasia accompanied by extreme arthritis. I took Desiree and her radiographs to a hip dysplasia specialist who agreed that she did have hip dysplasia and arthritis, but did not agree that these conditions were severe or extreme. He strongly disagreed with the suggestion to end her life. . . He referred me to Dr. Hathaway who treated the problem by adjusting her dislocated sacrum. It took several visits for her to hold the adjustment.

Then, Milo, our other dog, slipped while playing and needed an adjustment. In addition, he was having a severe dry skin problem which the new veterinarian was treating with Prednisone. This was giving him little to no relief until Dr. Hathaway came out to adjust him and he explained how the skin condition was related to the sacrum being out which caused increased adrenaline, thereby, causing the dry skin condition. He was correct and Milo's skin condition drastically improved within days. A few months later we came home to find Milo so sick that he could not stand. When he could try to stand, he would vomit and lay down again. When we finally got him to stand, he was walking very stiff legged and was obviously in excruciating pain. I immediately called his regular veterinarian and Dr. Hathaway. Dr. Hathaway promptly returned my call and treated Milo right away. His condition instantly improved and he did not require any additional veterinary treatment.

Dr. Hathaway has improved the lives of my pets which has directly improved my life. I believe Dr. Hathaway saved Desiree's life because if I had listened to the first veterinarian, she would have been put down by now. Without Dr. Hathaway's treatment Milo would still be miserable with a dislocated sacrum and related dry skin problem. . . Desiree's case, which in my opinion, is nothing short of a miracle. She keeps up with Milo who is now sixteen months old, she goes power walking with me daily, swim, plays soccer, and throughly enjoys life.
